Crowned 'Large Venue of the Year' at the 2019 EVANZ Awards, Claudelands is a modern solution for live music, performance, sport, conferencing, meetings, banquet dinners and indoor or outdoor exhibitions.

Claudelands has a rich cultural history, and has been hosting events in Hamilton since the late 1800s. The extensive redevelopment of Claudelands began in 2007 and an Open Day was held to mark its re-opening in June 2011.

In June 2011 Claudelands reopened after an extensive refurbishment - this refurbishment included design features that enabled the venue to be more environmentally friendly as well as ensuring it was better placed to adapt to future requirements around sustainability.

Claudelands is a 10-15 minute walk from Hamilton CBD, and a 20-minute drive from Hamilton Regional Airport. Claudelands is located in Hamilton, in the heart of New Zealand's Waikato region. Situated in the heart of the North Island - within 90 minutes drive of Auckland, Tauranga and Rotorua - the diverse Waikato region is well-known for its nature-based tourism, underground adventure and iconic Waikato River.
